Charlie is a fun loving, energetic and food motivated terrier mix about 23 pounds. He is about 10 years old , is very friendly, loving, and he loves to play. Charlie is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He is also an attention junkie! The more you pet him the better he likes you and wants you to do keep petting him! He is a cuddlier and loves to give kisses. He is a great little watch dog like most terriers are. He hears everything with those ears and instinctively wants you to "check it out!" He seems to really like his crate and has been trained to go in by the command "crate, crate" with a treat in your hand. Charlie is a very happy dog, and cause of his high energy, small children with their fast movements are not recommended at this time. Older, more considerate children would be better. Charlie was adopted out through us about 8 years ago and had lots of love and attention. Unfortunately his owner's health is failing and he needs to be rehomed.
Milkshake was abandoned at a vacant home and was coaxed out from under a pile of trash with food and water. It only took this little girl a few days of love and attention for her personality to start to shine. Although she is shy at first, she warms up quickly and has become a sweet, trusting pup. She is about 1.5 years old, recently spayed, up to dates on all her shots and ready for adoption.
Please meet the adorable incorrigible Nellie the Chi! This little girl found herself abandoned at MACC because her humans would not take the time to help her learn not to resource guard her food. So common when they have to learn to fend for themselves and so very trainable. Nellie was blessed to be pulled out of MACC and is currently being fostered and working on her training and she is coming along beautifully She needs a slow intro and then she just shines Nellie loves to rub her humans leg like a cat and would like a quiet home and if there are small dogs that is great, too. She is working on her girlish figure and losing a few pounds and at about five years old she is ready for her long beautiful life. Nellie is spayed and chipped and vaccinated.
Callie is a sweet little girl, being pulled from Pinal County and was part of a large dog hoarding case and will be fostered by one of our best foster families. Callie is very shy and takes great direction from other dogs and that's why their house is very desirable and as of right now she does not walk on a leash so she will not become available for adoption until farther down the road. We will update you as her rehabilitation continues.
