Spay, Neuter, Medical Costs

Besides the spay and neuter costs and required immunizations for all animals under our care, sometimes there are extensive medical costs needed to make they ready to be adopted. Below are just 3 examples:

Senior Surgery

After this Honey came to us, she became sick and we discovered she had several tumors that required surgery.  She now lives cancer free with all her loving, caring family!

2 ACL Surgeries

This gorgeous girl not only needed 2 surgeries, she needed special medical boarding to help her heal.  She is now prancing like a puppy in her new home!

Cataract Eye Surgery

Though just a kitten, Briana needed surgery and can now see purfectly!

Rehabilitation Costs

Many times dogs and cats need special help and lots of time to be reintroduced to loving homes.

Almost feral and with pups

All this girl's pups were successfully adopted out, but she needed extensive rehabilitation in Tucson to be able to be around people.  She now lives at Best Friends and enjoys her life with the other dogs there.

From a hoarding Situation

This little guy was was so scared he would hug the corners of the wall.  With time and desensitization rehabilitation, he now has all the confidence in the world and enjoys his people and animal friends!

Anxiety Rehabilitation

New situations made this princess very anxious and unable to socialize with other animals or be left alone without panicking.  Long term rehabilitation allowed her to be adopted out to a loving home.
